The Person

Sabrina Oliphant, now 52, is a wonderful, fun loving person who loves celebrating life with others! She currently resides in Houston, TX. At a young age, Sabrina met Jesus, and she has loved Him with all her heart since then! She loves to spread God’s glorious gospel to all those she meets, and share His love with them.

The History

As many of you know, Sabrina has had a long battle against cancer, which began three years ago with the original diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer. She tried many different types of treatment, but the cancer spread from breast to liver, lymph nodes, lungs, and bone. We were all praying so hard for a miracle, but at times we thought it was getting close to the end. Then a miracle did come, through a particular treatment that went against the actual gene that was causing the cancer. She had unbelievable results from that treatment, and within a year, the doctors said that the cancer levels were close to normal. The previous cancer lesions were gone – in the breast, in the liver, in the lungs, and in the bone. One doctor said about 2 months ago that he rarely used the word “cured” for any of his cancer patients, but he really felt like she was cured! We were so glad, and praising God! Unfortunately, Sabrina hacs recently received some news that was a bit disheartening. Although the treatment was able to get rid of the cancer in all of the body, including the areas which had been cancerous before, it was unable to reach the brain. They said this is very rare, but does happen sometimes, where the treatment is blocked by your own body from going to the brain. Because of this, many cancerous tumors have grown in her brain, and due to the number of the tumors, the doctors are saying they are inoperable. However, we are not giving up!!

The Need

As you can imagine, fighting this battle has been very costly, especially when it has been ongoing for 3 years. There have been many doctors, and many treatments, all over the country. Due to this, and the physical inability to provide sufficient income, her finances are quickly dwindling, adding a tremendous amount of stress. She needs this to happen quickly, as it is desperately needed right now.
